Dear Keith, Fern and Holly These are strange times that we are living in, but even a global pandemic could not prevent those who have cared for Debbie to be able to say goodbye. And although I wish I could have been present at Debbie’s farewell, it warmed my heart to see how many of us were following the service online. As I am writing these words, happy memories of visiting all of you with Janice, Bruno, William and Louis have come rushing back. Whether it is playing RollerCoaster tycoon with Holly, or Fern teasingly calling William and I “elephants” as we overexcitedly ran around the house, there was always a pure feeling of love and happiness that emanated from the Spengler family, and I remember our visits to be exciting and full of joy. Hearing today’s eulogies was a reminder of how much Debbie was a source of this love and happiness. But I know that despite this certainly being the most difficult tragedy you have ever faced, much more love and happiness is yet to come, and I am sure that the Spengler house will soon be filled with as much excitement and joy as I remember it from all those years ago. Wishing to all of you the very best of my thoughts and all my love, Pierre-Stuart
